General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
~11.5mm long
Notice a brown (front) & white (rear) projections from the thorax (middle to back) as well as the 2 "shoulder" spines at the front top of the thorax. The long thin projections can be seen more clearly in the head shot (white) and the antenna shot (brown).
One assumes the name bituberus is refering to these projections "bi"->"two" & "tuber"->"knob" ... or perhaps it's the shoulder "spines".
