General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
~9mm long.
We thought it was a Flower-loving Fly (Apiocera sp). However, it's got coloured wings, longer than the body and a short tongue which don't match Flower-loving flies very well.
