General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere ~7mm long & ~17mm wingspan. Very shiny scales, so difficult to get photo's to highlight the white patch as oposed to reflective glare. It has stunning orange hindwings, with a thick black trailing border. While this superficially looks like a Wattle Moth, it is much smaller. The body has an orange band as well, but this doesn't seem to be consistent across on-line images. In Bold BINS there are 4 records describing this species, which indicates it's a species complex. Eurhythma sp. ANIC6 & Eurhythma sp. 6 (as figured on Bold V3) have the same DNA markers.
