Thank you Dr Ben Parslow for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere Male, ~12mm long & ~12mm wingspan. These are unusual ratios, with the wingspan normally being quite a bit larger than the head & body length. Found in Melaleuca lanceolata flowers during the day. Normally they are very hard to see but the blackness of it's body contrasted with the white Melaleuca flowers. | |||||
