General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills and elsewhere S1 was ~17mm long with wingspan of ~44mm. It's hard to believe these two specimens are the same species. Thanks to Peter Merriott for identifying the 2nd specimen for us Quite possibly a species complex. Notice the orange side tufts in S1, that were visible to the eye. On closer inspection we notice more orange scales on the face. | |||||
