EXTRA - Photo Specific Information:
They vary in colour between yellow and red. The eyes (probably not functional yet) are the little orange bits on the front at the side. Not the black markings on the head. You can see the wings starting to develop in the middle of the body to the side.
General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills and elsewhere
We thought this was Hyalinaspis sp.
There is a bit of confusion with the naming of these. The Lerp is the housing. The bug inside is a Psylloid that produces the lerp; the bug isn't a lerp.

This species is an Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
