Thank you Mark Newton for identifying this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere Varies from black to light brown (tan) to cinnamon Adults are quite distinguished with white "bow tie" spot at the end of their wing shield, finishing with jet black diamond vest formed by the wing tips. Found on Senna and Beyeria opaca. Without ventral examination, we can't be sure this is the correct id. | |||||
