Thank you David Muirhead for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Adelaide Hills and possibly elsewhere ~17mm long. These only have 3 antennae segments, which is less than most others at 4 or 5. However, the colour banding makes them look like 4 segments, so you need to pay close attention to the actual segment separtion; not just colour. Notice the spurs on each antenna base under the head. It seems some specimens have longer spines than others. Possibly a gender difference? | |||||
