General Species Information:
Found in the Adelaide Hills and possibly elsewhere
Also called Dance Flies.
This one was quite a small fly @ <10mm long with a very long proboscis compared to body length.

This species is

Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
