Lorin said "Close to the eyes there is a long bristle bent forwards (proclinate) in Females. Males do not have them. Eye distance is hard to judge in Sarcophaga, only slight differences between the genders." Similar Species: Fleshfly-mimicking Bristle Fly (Exorista sp)
