Thank you Dee Nolan for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills and elsewhere ~10mm Wingspan, ~4.5mm long. Donald Hobern said "The easiest way to tell them apart" from Megalorhipida leucodactylus " with fresh specimens is to look at the black and white (or brown and white) lines down the hind legs. On xerodes, they run parallel along the top edge. On leucodactylus, they corkscrew near the joints." | |||||
