General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
Male ~18mm long.
Notice how the male is much less robust here than with the very similar male P. flavidula.
These males also have much less yellow markings.
Joseph said "Betrem's key (in German) adds leg color, not mentioned by Turner. gilesi has black tibiae. The keys also use "median segment" which I thought must mean of the tergum.
Between Turner and Betrem's keys, there's a full description of gilesi males. They have a "minute spot" on the postscutellum and spots on sternites 2-3."
