Thank you Kate Sandiford & Mark Hura for identifying and Tony and Jenny Dominelli & Grant Wang for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Murray Mallee SA, Riverland and possibly elsewhere Mark said they are nocturnal and rarely seen. Their nest opening is unusual as it's perfectly round and goes straight down. More like a Wolf Spider burrow than an ants nest. | |||||
